    Abstract
    This article analyzes the methodology for improving the physical development and physical fitness of students of secondary schools aged 13-14. The physical development of students is associated with age-related characteristics, physiological changes and motor activity, which directly affects their overall health and academic performance.The article considers methods for effectively organizing physical education classes, using active games, special exercises and sports elements to improve the physical fitness of students. It also covers important aspects of planning classes, individualizing loads and increasing motivation. The results of the study show that when scientifically based methodological approaches are used, the endurance, strength, agility and general physical fitness of students increase significantly. Thus, the use of innovative methodologies is important to support the physical development of students aged 13-14 and increase their interest in sports. This article contains useful recommendations for teachers and physical education specialists
