    Abstract
This article analyzes the methods of monitoring the training processes of high-level handball players on a scientific basis. In modern sports, monitoring is considered an important tool for determining the physical, psychological and functional state of an athlete, their control and development. The study covers the integration of monitoring with modern technologies, the integration of artificial intelligence and digital analysis systems into the training process. It also considers mechanisms for continuous analysis of the condition of athletes based on indicators such as heart rate, movement dynamics, reaction time, muscle tension, psychological state. Based on the information determined by the monitoring tool, training plans are drawn up based on an individual approach to athletes. The article also discusses the role of monitoring in rehabilitation, preventing overload and maintaining optimal sports form. In addition, monitoring results create the basis for effective information exchange between coaches, athletes and medical specialists, helping to determine the level of athletes' adaptation to complex physical loads. During the study, the importance of the monitoring system in real-time evaluation of monitoring results, injury prevention and effective planning of the athlete's annual training cycle was deeply analyzed. The results of the study confirm the need for a monitoring system to ensure effective training of highlevel handball players and show that it is an important factor in increasing the competitiveness of athletes.
