Development of functional training in students aged 13–14 years: running, jumping, flexibility exercises
Abstract
This article analyzes the role of running, jumping, and flexibility exercises in the
development of functional fitness of students aged 13–14. Since active growth of the body, formation of
muscles and the musculoskeletal system are observed at this age, it is important to establish physical
fitness through scientifically based exercises. The article extensively covers the physiological and
psychological characteristics of exercises, the principles of their phased organization, individual
approaches, and diagnostic assessment methods. Innovative and interactive methods for the formation of
functional fitness in school lessons and extracurricular activities are also analyzed. The research results
show that it is possible to raise a healthy, highly active, and disciplined generation through the
development of functional fitness. In addition, the article also examines the impact of physical activity on
the mental state, social skills, and general health of students. It is emphasized that regular running,
jumping, and flexibility exercises in young people can reduce stress, increase concentration, and focus.
At the same time, the pedagogical process also discusses the involvement of parents and the public in
physical education activities, their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle. The article also shows the
possibilities of using modern technologies in the development of functional training, for example, the use
of game methods and the introduction of individual monitoring systems. These approaches serve to
increase the movement culture of school-age children and improve their quality of life.
