    Abstract
A mathematical model of the deformation curve of a leather semi-finished product after dyeing and fat-liquoring operations was obtained. The model establishes a relationship between compressive stress, relative deformation, and relative humidity. The study found that leather experiences the greatest compression deformation almost immediately upon the application of a load. It was observed that as the compressive load increases, so does the deformation of the leather, with the limit value being dependent on the moisture content. It was also discovered that lower moisture content in leather results in lower deformation.
