dc.description.abstractThe results of solving the main problems of contact interaction in squeezing machines are presented, when the deformation of the contacting bodies is given by the Kelvin Voigt models. Analytical expressions are found that describe the shape of the contact line of the rolls, as well as the patterns of distribution of normal and tangential forces. It has been established that one of the main factors determining the roll contact lines is the ratio of the strain rates of the material being processed and the roll coating. It is revealed that the point where the shear stresses change their signs is located in the sticking area.en_US
