Abstract
Research activity is not only a means of personal development, but also a
goal, and in our opinion, it is one of the main components that make up the system of the student
training process. The content and pedagogical conditions of developing the research skills of future
engineers based on an innovative approach, the main definitions of innovative activity, directions
of cooperation with the scientific products, educational services and the labor market of an
innovative active higher education institution are highlighted in the article.
