| dc.description.abstract | Handball is a sport that requires a high level of physical activity, and its physiological
effects significantly affect the overall physical condition of athletes. This article analyzes the impact of
handball on the physical fitness of athletes. Physical skills such as speed, strength, endurance and
flexibility are important in handball. A high level of aerobic and anaerobic training is necessary to ensure
maximum performance of players. Also, the development of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular
system and nervous system of players supports physiological processes. In addition to physical training,
psychological preparation also motivates athletes to achieve successful results. On the other hand, it is of
great importance to protect against injuries through the necessary training and exercises, as well as to
quickly recover from them. This article also shows the training strategies and techniques necessary to
optimize the physical fitness of athletes, as well as the importance of managing energy resources
necessary for high performance during the game | en_US |
