dc.description.abstractHandball is a sport that requires a high level of physical activity, and its physiological effects significantly affect the overall physical condition of athletes. This article analyzes the impact of handball on the physical fitness of athletes. Physical skills such as speed, strength, endurance and flexibility are important in handball. A high level of aerobic and anaerobic training is necessary to ensure maximum performance of players. Also, the development of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system and nervous system of players supports physiological processes. In addition to physical training, psychological preparation also motivates athletes to achieve successful results. On the other hand, it is of great importance to protect against injuries through the necessary training and exercises, as well as to quickly recover from them. This article also shows the training strategies and techniques necessary to optimize the physical fitness of athletes, as well as the importance of managing energy resources necessary for high performance during the gameen_US
