| dc.description.abstract | This article scientifically and theoretically analyzes the issue of developing
analytical thinking skills among higher education students through the game of chess. The game
of chess is considered not only as a type of intellectual activity, but also as an effective tool for
forming a student's logical thinking, strategic approach, critical thinking and decision-making
skills. The article highlights the possibilities of developing analytical thinking through such
aspects as the stages of thinking that occur during the process of playing chess, analysis and
assessment of probabilities, self-improvement, patience, intolerance, and creativity. It also
substantiates the fact that students acquire self-assessment, communication, teamwork, and time
management skills through the game of chess as one of the relevant directions of the educational
process. The article also analyzes modern technologies and online chess platforms as modern
methods that can be used to improve students' thinking skills. In conclusion, it is scientifically
substantiated that the game of chess can be effectively used in higher education institutions not
only for entertainment, but also for educational and educational purposes. | en_US |
