In particular, the formation of logical and strategic thinking skills through chess, the psychological and pedagogical foundations of this process are highlighted on the basis of scientific approaches. The study shows the impact of chess on personal and social development, its use in the education system, its role in increasing the mental potential of young people and the ability to make the right decisions in problem situations. Chess is evaluated not only as a tool for developing thinking, but also as a factor in the formation of personal discipline, will, patience, alternative thinking and analytical analysis skills. The article also analyzes the didactic and psychological capabilities of chess, drawing attention to its importance in education.en_US
