This article discusses the theoretical and practical foundations of modeling statistical analysis methods for assessing the performance of football players. As the possibilities of working with digital technologies and big data (Big Data) expand in the field of football, statistical approaches are becoming increasingly important not only for assessing player performance, but also for making coaching decisions, conducting transfer policies, and optimizing training processes. The article analyzes the main statistical indicators used to determine the individual and team performance of football players - metrics such as Expected Goals (xG), Expected Assists (xA), Key Passes, Pressures, Successful Tackles. It is also shown that modeling can predict the effectiveness of football players' movement trajectories, game scenarios, and tactical schemes. The use of statistical methods in monitoring the health, injury prevention, and psychophysiological state of athletes is also given special attention. The results of the study confirm that statistical analysis methods are an important tool in the scientific management of modern football and show that this approach can serve the professional development of players and the formation of a targeted selection system in football academies.en_US
