dc.description.abstractThis article evaluates the application of modern computational tools, specifically the EXAMINE 2D software, in analyzing rock pressure in underground mining. It discusses the growing reliance on computer technologies for solving complex geomechanical problems such as stress-deformation states, rock displacements, and reinforcement interactions in mining operations. The paper highlights the advantages of using the finite element method (FEM) and examines the effectiveness of EXAMINE 2D, a program designed to analyze stress and geomechanical states around mine tunnels. While the software provides valuable insights with its graphical representations and ease of use, it also has limitations, including the lack of three-dimensional modeling and reliance on elastic laws. The article concludes with a recommendation for developing advanced programs that address these limitations and better capture the complexities of mine pressure dynamics.en_US
