In modern conditions, to maintain a favorable hydraulic regime on mechanical water lifting systems, it is rational to use protective structures on watercourses that use the energy of the water flow in the form of a floating tank. Based on the obtained theoretical principles, fundamentally new self-controlled floating structures were created and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the movement of an unsteady three-dimensional flow for the parameters of the wing profile were refined. The theory of unsteady three-dimensional movement of a multiphase flow with its artificial stratification and protection from selected phases in depth is used by floating guide systems at water intakes of large cascades of pumping stations.en_US
